The skies may be blue, but it’s been blowing a gale each afternoon, and it’s bitterly cold. When I got up at 7.00, the last two mornings, it was around 12C inside the boat. Good thing we have very warm duvets for the night and we can warm the boat up with the heating system on, during the day. The bonus of the cold weather is that there are no insects to bother us. We cooked dinner onboard for the first time this trip; local sea bass. Although it’s farmed, it was delicious. The wild asparagus frittata, that we cooked for lunch was very tasty too, with an even milder flavour than the asparagus we get in the UK. The boat prep continues at a nice steady pace. Yesterday, we managed to blow the electrics, having run the generator, to check that was working properly and then, after powering that down and plugging back into the electricity supply, we lost all power. Steve found the trip switch and we were back up and running again, a great relief, as we really need the heating at the mome...
